Goalkeeper Lee Kendall was Port Talbot's hero in the penalty shoot-out as he saved Scott Ruscoe's opening spot-kick and then scored the winning penalty at a tense Park Hall.

The Saints had the better of the opening exchanges and they deserved their lead when the ball landed in the path of Aeron Edwards after the Steelmen had blocked a Jamie Wood shot. The equaliser came in the 26th minute, when a Lloyd Grist corner was clinically headed home by striker Martin Rose.

Then, a terrible error from Saints 'keeper Paul Harrison in the 35th minute, on the edge of his box gifted a goal to Lee John as the visitors took the lead. Just two minutes after the break the Saints restored parity when Edwards' initial shot was blocked and Alex Darlington followed up to finish well.

>Prestatyn Town 4-4 Rhyl FC

(Prestatyn Town won 5-3 on penalties)
In an incredible derby match, Prestatyn Town came from two goals behind to win on penalties to seal a semi-final spot. There were five goals in the first half at Bastion Road with Marc Connolly scoring the opener for Rhyl on 11 minutes. Mike Parker equalised for the hosts on eighteen minutes, but Connolly restored the Rhyl advantage on 27 minutes with a tremendous effort. Matty Williams then made it 3-1 to Rhyl on the half-hour, before a thunderbolt from ex-Rhyl midfielder Gareth Wilson made it 3-2 at the break. Neil Gibson and Andy Moran scored the third and fourth for the Seasiders as the game finished 4-4 after 90 minutes. There were no further goals and the hosts won the subsequent shoot-out.

Bala Town 2-0 Afan Lido FC

(AET)
It was goalless at full-time at Maes Tegid after ninety minutes, but the deadlock was broken in extra-time when Bala scored through Osian Jones in the 98th minute. Neil Fisher scored the second to seal Bala's place in their first ever Welsh Cup Semi-Final.
