Aber down 10-Man Neath and Steelmen crush Druids

Neath FC 1-3 Aberystwyth Town

Aberystwyth Town enforced more misery on Neath and their boss Andy Dyer as the Eagles were again grounded, as Aberystwyth Town claimed all three points at the Gnoll to go to third in the table.

Neath were reduced to ten-men on 40 minutes, when young midfielder Luke Morgan was sent-off by referee Darren Adie. Then, after a goalless first-half midfielder Bari Morgan broke the deadlock on 55 minutes as the visitors capitalised on their numerical advantage.

On-loan winger Ryan Fraughan then struck his second in as many matches to enhance his growing reputation. Geoff Kellaway then made it 3-0 just three minutes later, so Carlos Castan's 89th minute effort was just consolation.

Port Talbot Town 7-0 Elements Cefn Druids

Port Talbot Town coasted to victory at the GenQuip Stadium with a rout over the hapless Druids.

All seven goals came from just three sources, with wingers Lee John and Daniel Thomas sharing five of them. The latter, who was named in the starting eleven ahead of Drew Fahiya, repaid his manager Mark Jones with a first top-flight hat-trick. The ex-Goytre forward scored the evening's opener on 35 minutes, which sparked an incredible four goals before the break.

Wales semi-pro international Lee John got back to his best form with a brace, one coming in each half.

The other two goals came from Port Talbot's top scorer Liam McCreesh, who scored his brace in a three-minute period just before the interval to make it 4-0. After the break, Thomas scored in 47 and 55 minutes.
