A club statement writes; "Though they may be gone, neither of them are forgotten. Following the flurry of signings during the transfer window, neither of them was going to be guaranteed a starting place."

Both of them need regular, competitive, football," manager Derek Brazil told the website, "And I will be keeping an eye on their progress. I never discount players, as you can see with the return of Hudgie (Lee Hudgell), Sully (Chris O'Sullivan) and Rammers (Tom Ramasut)".

I would like to thank them both for their commitment and efforts for me, and the door is open to them next pre-season for a return.

The Gaffer also paid tribute to the pair; "I would like to thank them both for their commitment and efforts for me, and the door is open to them next pre-season for a return."

Looking ahead to Friday night's game against Port Talbot, Mr. Brazil is convinced it will be an entertaining fixture.

"I'm full of praise for Jonah and his team and how well they have done. I've seen them at home a few times and there aren't too many weaknesses in the team.

"But if there are on the night we aim to exploit them. I'm sure it will be end to end stuff, given the players that are on show from both teams."

The kick of at the GenQuip Stadium on Friday evening is at 7:30
