Sharp thanks Citizens for the Best Time in his Career
Chris Sharp has thanked former club Bangor City following his switch to TNS last Friday.
Sharp, who was at Farrar Road on Saturday watching his former club against Aberaman, rather than his new club TNS at Llandudno Junction said;
I'd like to thank everyone at Bangor City over the last two seasons. It has, without doubt, been the best time in my career and I've loved every minute of it
"I'd like to thank everyone at Bangor City over the last two seasons. It has, without doubt, been the best time in my career and I've loved every minute of it, apart from that day in Carmarthen."
The incident to which the striker refers was when he broke his arm last February at Richmond Park, which ruled him out for the remainder of the season, including the Welsh Cup Final win in Llanelli.
"I'd like to thank the supporters for all their support, especially whilst I was injured. It has been a difficult decision for me to leave. Full time football is what I have been striving for, and the fact that I am out of work at the moment helped my decision.
"I feel the move will help me improve as a player, and help me achieve my dream of playing in the football league. Once again, a massive thank you to everyone at the club for everything they have done for me.
"Bangor City will always remain a special place in my heart. A special thanks to Neville, who treated me as one of his own whilst I was injured, fetching and carrying me to matches. Best wishes for the rest of the season."
