Seats go in at Farrar Road

Spectators at Farrar Road for Bangor's Welsh Cup match against Aberaman FC on Saturday were pleasantly surprised with the upgraded facilities they received in the stand.

The old wooden benches are no more, as over 500 individual bucket seats have been installed, to meet the FAW Club Licensing regulations. The seats were purchased by the club in the summer from Cardiff City, when the Bluebirds moved to their new stadium, so the once Ninian Park seats have found a new home up in North Wales.

A new Press Area has also been installed into the re-development, which is again required to meet the Club Licensing criteria.
