Denbighshire Derby in the Welsh Cup Quarters
The draw for the Welsh Cup Quarter Final has thrown up a Denbighshire derby between Prestatyn Town and Rhyl, which is sure to generate a huge amount of interest in the locality. The match will be played at Bastion Gardens, where the sides drew 0-0 this season in the League on Boxing Day.
Cup holders Bangor City will be delighted to be at home at this stage of the competition, but face a really stern test with Llanelli the visitors. The Reds have a good record at Farrar Road, having won there twice in as many seasons since Nev Powell took charge at the club and he goes into the game having won fifteen consecutive matches in this competition, since taking over as Bangor boss, so something will have to give.
Port Talbot's reward for their win at Park Avenue on Saturday is arguably the toughest tie of the round with an away trip to Park Hall to face TNS. The Steelmen lost 2-0 at Park Hall earlier this month, so they know the magnitude of the task that awaits them in Oswestry.
The final tie of the round sees Bala Town play at Maes Tegid for the fourth time in this season's competition. They host the only non-Welsh Premier League side left in the competition as Afan Lido will make their way up to the Lakes with a place in the Semi-Final at stake.

Ties are to be played on or before Saturday 27th February 2010.
