Morgan raids Tranmere for talented midfielder

Aberystwyth Town manager Alan Morgan has added to his squad, using his contacts in Tranmere Rovers with the loan signing of the talented youngster, Ryan Fraughan.

The midfielder was awarded the number 20 shirt in this season's first team squad at Prenton Park after playing for the club since the age of 14. Already this season he has made one start and a further five substitute appearances. He is an attacking midfielder who can also play upfront, and he will provide good competition for the midfield and attack.

Morgan's first recruit as Aberystwyth boss was defender Joel Richardson from Tranmere and the teenager has already made his first start for the Park Avenue club, when he started at full-back against Neath in midweek. Morgan is also a coach at the Tranmere academy, so he certainly has excellent contacts at the football league club.

The loan signing is until the end of the season and he will go straight into the squad for Saturday's Welsh Cup tie against Port Talbot kicking off at 2pm.
