One In, One Out at Bala

Bala Town have completed the signing of 19 year-old winger Paul Ennis from Stalybridge Celtic.

The Stockport-born teenager, who is known as Charlie, played professionally in League One for Stockport County but after a spell in the youth team, he was released in 2008 without playing for the first team.

Despite his release, he continued to train at the club and after Stockport received funds for playing at Wembley Stadium that season, he was re-signed with a professional contract. He made his Stockport debut on 21st March last year in the 4-0 defeat to Northampton Town.

In September, the winger joined Stalybridge Celtic, following an unsuccessful two-month trial period with Wrexham. During his spell with the Dragons, he played in a number of friendlies including a behind-closed doors match against Newtown at Colliers Park.

He played eleven times for Stalybridge, mostly as a substitute, but then left the club in November. He has been available since and Colin Caton has snapped the youngster up for the Maes Tegid outfit.

One player who is heading through the Lakesiders' exit door is former Liverpool youth team captain Joe Kennedy, who has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent. The defender made just two full appearances for Caton and two from the bench, despite being named as a substitute on no less than fifteen occasions.
