Wingmakers to face Everton in Friendly

The Airfield will host Everton on 18th JulyAirbus UK Broughton FC will face FA Cup finalists, Everton FC at the Airfield on Saturday 18th July (3:00 pm kick-off). The friendly fixture is a tremendous boost to the Principality Welsh Premier League club and club officials are hoping for a large turnout in Broughton to celebrate the occasion.

Lifelong Everton fan and Airbus Broughton FC Chairman, Paul McKinlay commented;

"We are delighted to be hosting an English Premiership club at The Airfield and would like to thank David Moyes and the staff at Everton for their help in arranging the game."

"We have made great progress over the past few months in developing the club, in particular the playing surface. We now have a facility that can benefit Flintshire and Welsh football; the improvements now mean we can host high profile teams and fixtures at The Airfield."

Manager Craig Harrison who is a former Middlesborough and Crystal Palace defender added;

"This will be a great test for our lads, most of whom have played to a high standard. Playing against such players, is second only to playing at that level yourself. We are all thoroughly looking forward to the fixture."
