Llanelli add ex-Swan Howard to Ranks

Michael Howard will go straight into the Reds' squad for the Europa LeagueLlanelli have signed former Swansea City and Morecambe defender, Michael Howard and he will go straight into the Reds' squad for the Europa Cup matches against Motherwell. The Llanelli Club Website states;

The 30 year old left-back was born in Birkenhead, Merseyside and initially started his career with Liverpool, before being signed as a trainee by Tranmere Rovers. He spent the majoirty of his football League career at Swansea City, where he had been a regular for six seasons, and was then signed by Jim Harvey for Morecambe from at the start of the 2004/05 season.

In January 2008, Howard joined Oxford United on a short-term loan deal and he was released by Morecambe in May 2009.

In total, he has made 222 appearances for the Swans, before moving to Morecambe, where he played 95 times, before 17 appearances on loan at Oxford United.
