Airbus Boss and striker Reed join Rhyl
Rhyl FC have announced that the Airbus UK Broughton Manager Gareth Owen has joined the club.

Owen, who is an experienced midfielder, has a wealth of league experience and joins the club on a one-year contract. He is another well-known former Wrexham player to join the Belle Vue outfit and he spent eleven years as a professional at the Racecourse.
Owen also spent two seasons at Doncaster Rovers before arriving in the Principality Welsh Premier League with his hometown club Connah's Quay Nomads in 2003. He joined the Wingmakers in 2005 and was named the Principality Player of the Month for February 2007. He is also the Football Development Officer for the Deeside area.
Club President Mr Peter Parry is also pleased to announce that another ex-Wrexham striker, Jamie Reed has also joined the club. Wrexham released the 21-year-old last season and he links up with the Lilywhites on a 12-month contract with a years option.
These signings indicate the intention of the club to raise the level of football, and create even better opportunities for Rhyl FC
Reed, who made seven substitute appearances for Wrexham between 2005 and 2007, played on loan at Aberystwyth Town last season scoring nine goals in 19 starts and one substitute appearance. He immediately shot to fame at Park Avenue, when he scored a hat-trick in the second game of the last season when the Seasiders slammed Champions TNS. Such was his popularity during his short stint in Aber, he was given the captain's armband for his last game at Welshpool and he also scored in the game.
Rhyl chief Parry told the Club's Official Website, "Today we have made three signings, including George Horan, who follow the earlier signings of Neil Roberts.
"These signings indicate the intention of the club to raise the level of football, and create even better opportunities for Rhyl FC. I am delighted that these players have chosen to be part of our family at Rhyl".
