Semi-Final Preview

There will definitely be one Principality Welsh Premier League side in the FAW Premier Cup Final 2008 as Llanelli will host Carmarthen Town in the Semi Final towards the end of February. The Reds' victory over Wrexham at Stebonheath means that they have another home match to look forward to against their Carmarthenshire neighbours.

In the other Semi-Final, Championship side Cardiff City will be favourites to overcome Conference South opponents Newport County at Ninian Park. The match will see a return to the former club of a number of County players, with defenders Damon Searle, Steve Jenkins and Lee Jarman all former Bluebirds.
