The Draw
Welshpool Town will host Championship side Cardiff City in the Quarter Final of the FAW Premier Cup.

The Lilywhites have been rewarded with the highest ranked side in the competition following their win over Haverfordwest County in the previous Round. The Capital's Bluebirds, who tend to field a team made up of mainly Youth and Squad players, will not welcome a visit to the humble surroundings of Maesydre and it will be a special evening for former Cardiff City player Terry Boyle, who is the Assistant Manager of the Lilywhites.

In the only tie not to involve a Principality Welsh Premier League side, Newport County, beaten Finalists last year, will host Roberto Martinez's League One side Swansea City and the winners of those two fixtures will meet in the semi-final, at either the Liberty or the Newport Stadium, after being placed in the same half of the draw.

The other last-four meeting will see Llanelli or Wrexham at home to Carmarthen Town or Champions, The New Saints, which are the two other Quarter Finals. Llanelli will certainly fancy an upset at Stebonheath against Brian Little's strugling side Wrexham, which could prove to be the shock of the Round.
