Rhyls Craig Jones and Welshpools Venables on latest Podcast

The Principality Welsh Premier League Podcast for November is now available to download. In the Season's second edition, Presenter Hash Piperdy, the Head of Sport for 107.9 Afan FM chats to Wales Under 23 Semi Professional players Craig Jones of Rhyl and Chris Venables of Welshpool Town.

Jones, the flying winger from Rhyl who only joined the Lilywhites in the summer from Aberystwyth Town has also played for Airbus UK and was with Man City as a youngster. Former Shrewsbury and Caersws midfielder Chris Venables has been a revelation for Welshpool this year, scoring 11 goals and winning the Principality Player of the Month Award for October.

Both players played for Tony Pennock's Wales side in midweek, with Venables starting in midfield and Jones replacing him in the second-half.

The two players discuss their recent trip to Italy and how much they have benefitted from the trip, they also discuss their season so far and a possible North v South Wales Match. Venables also talks about the new Stadium plans for Welshpool and how it is vital for the club and Town to gain a new Stadium.
