Port Talbot and Connah's Quay Awarded Domestic Licence

Port Talbot Town and gap Connah's Quay have both been awarded the FAW Domestic Licence for the 2014/15 season following an appeals hearing in Cardiff on Tuesday morning.

The Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League duo were the only two clubs to appeal against the decision of the First Instance Body against its decision not to award the domestic licence. The domestic licence is a pre-requisite to participate in the Welsh Premier League for 2014/15 season and a total of 14 clubs have achieved the licence, which is a decrease of one from last season.

Neither club appealed against their UEFA licence refusal, which is required for UEFA club competition.

The following clubs have been awarded an FAW Domestic Licence and a UEFA licence for the 2014/15 season;
1. Aberystwyth Town
2. Airbus UK Broughton
3. Bala Town
4. Bangor City
5. Carmarthen Town
6. Newtown AFC
7. Prestatyn Town
8. Rhyl FC
9. The New Saints

The following clubs have been awarded an FAW Domestic Licence for the 2014/15 season;
1. Cefn Druids FC
2. gap Connah's Quay (no UEFA licence)
3. Haverfordwest County
4. Llandudno Town
5. Port Talbot Town (no UEFA licence)

The following club was refused the FAW Domestic Licence and the UEFA licence for the 2014/15 season;
1. Afan Lido FC

The following clubs were refused the FAW Domestic Licence for the 2014/15 season;
