LAST NIGHT saw the first episode of the Robins Radio talkshow as a panel of guests met at Latham Park to discuss Welsh Premier League topics.
Reporter Jonny Drury started the idea little over a month ago and the first show was held last night.
On the panel for the show was club secretary Owen Durbridge, former Welsh Premier League Chairman Phil Woosnam and Powys County Times Sports Editor Gavin Grosvenor.
The first show saw topics such as the 3G pitch discussed and the 12 team league set up.
And Drury was extremely pleased about the show.
He said: "The outcome was brilliant and it was better than I expected.
"Before hand I was a little nervous that it wouldn't stretch to the time I wanted it to. However listening to it in the car on the way home, it was brilliant.
"All three panelists bounced off people and it went down well.
"The response on twitter and from what people have said to me has been excellent and I am now looking forward to the next show.
"I would like to thank all three panelists for taking their time out to come on the show."
A provisional date has been set for the next show on Wednesday April 23, when a group of WPL footballers and staff will take to the panel.
