Port Talbot Town have added to their club staff with the arrival of Sebastian Santamaria Rodriquez.

Sebastian is a commercial lawyer, who will review the club’s employment contracts and look at its general governance as well as carrying out other duties.

He is from Chile, is studying a masters degree in law at Cardiff University and has been taken on as part of an internship programme.

“We are delighted to welcome Sebastian to the club,” said Port Talbot chief executive Andrew Edwards.

“I’m delighted to have someone of Sebastian’s calibre on board.

“Sebastian is keen to see the difference in cultures between South American football and football in Wales, in particular The Welsh Premier League.

“I’d like to thank the WCVA and Steve Lloyd of the WPL for assisting in Sebastian’s placement.”

Sebastian said: “I’m pleased to be offered the chance to work at the club and I’m looking forward to learning more about how the game is run in Wales.”
