Rhoose striker Drew Fahiya - who scored in the 2010 Welsh Cup Final for Port Talbot Town - is hoping for more special Welsh Cup memories as his current side hosts Welsh Premier League side Bala Town on Saturday in Round 3.

The Barry-born forward was an important cog in the Steelmen's machine back then, as former manager Mark Jones took Port Talbot Town to the Final at Parc Y Scarlets, but despite a fine Fahiya goal, Bangor CIty lifted the cup that year.

Now playing in Welsh League division 3 with the side based in the Vale of Glamorgan, Fahiya and his boss Paul Giles, who played and managed Barry Town in the competition, are two players who have experienced a Welsh Cup Final previously, but there are players whose first experience of the famous competition came this season as Fahiya explains;

"Everyone's excited and ready to play. Some players have never played in the Welsh Cup before, so it's a great experience and everyone's looking forward to playing against Welsh Premier opposition."
