Bauza and Port Talbot Chief Executive Andrew Edwards
Port Talbot Town are delighted to announce the capture of former Swansea City striker Guillem Bauza.
The 28-year-old has put pen-to-paper with the club this evening and becomes the first Spaniard to sign for the Steelmen.
He will make his debut in Saturday’s home clash with Bangor City at the GenQuip Stadium (3:45), subject to international clearance being received.
Port Talbot chairman Andrew Edwards was understandably delighted to have sealed the deal which brings the former Spanish youth international to the GenQuip Stadium.
“We’re absolutely delighted to have brought a player of Guillem Bauza’s calibre to Port Talbot Town, it’s a very exciting signing for the club and the Welsh Premier League.”

Bauza’s most recent club was Exeter City but he is best known in English football for his successful spell at Swansea City, where he was brought to the club under Roberto Martinez in August 2007.
Bauza will wear the number 23 shirt – the same squad number he wore at Swansea City.
More reaction to this exciting news will be appearing on www.porttalbottown.co.uk, including Guillem’s views on signing for Port Talbot Town.
Admission for Saturday’s match is £5 adults, £3 concessions/students and £1 children.
