AN historic occasion awaits Port Talbot Town on Tuesday night, with the club set for its first ever match against Asian opposition.
The Under-23 side of Malaysian side Felda United are currently staying in South Wales having visited Cardiff City, who have a strong Malaysian connection through owner Vincent Tan.
As part of their visit to Wales, Felda United’s U-23 side will play at the GenQuip Stadium on Tuesday, KO 7.30.
The Felda United squad were in great spirit at Saturday’s Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League fixture against Newtown, where they showed their support for the Steelmen and received a memorable and warm welcome from the Port Talbot fans!
Felda United’s first-team compete in the Malaysian Super League and play at the 10,000-seater Temerloh Stadium in Pahang state.
