Rhyl Football Club has an excellent reputation in the area of player development. Last season alone saw over 10 Academy players go on Trial at Football League clubs with one player sign for a Premier League Club Academy.
The previous season saw midfielder Ryan Williams move into Football League to sign a professional Contract.
It is an exciting time to be joining Rhyl Football Club.
Working within the Football Development and in regular contact with Rhyl FC Manager Greg Strong, under 19's Manager Tony Sheridan and Academy Development Manager Niall Mcguinness will be responsible for shaping the future direction of the Futsal department, its players and its staff. This is a unique programme that requires an Futsal specialist; someone with a clear passion and desire to facilitate the development of young players through a patient long term approach. At Rhyl FC it is ‘our’ collective responsibility to ensure that our young players have the skills and the pathway to reach their full potential, we drive the facilitation of learning, going the extra mile, and thinking outside the box to help our players progress.
