Simm Suspended Following Twitter Comments

An FAW Disciplinary Panel met on Thursday, 12th September 2013 to consider charges of misconduct brought against Christopher Simm of Airbus UK Broughton FC in relation to statements made on his Twitter account on 17th May and 11th August 2013.

After carefully considering the evidence submitted, and due to inappropriate and racial nature of the language used, the Panel decided that Christopher Simm should be suspended for a total of six matches and fined £400.

The Airbus UK Broughton FC striker has seven business days as and from Monday, 16th September 2013 to appeal against the decision of the FAW Disciplinary Panel.
