Paul Evans made a last-gasp signing on Monday evening with the capture of former Wales Under 21 International Casey Thomas from Carmarthen Town.
The striker joined Town from Swansea City last August, but has been allowed to leave Richmond Park as he wasn't guaranteed first team football. Thomas - brother of Town player Corey - made his professional debut for Swansea City in August 2009 under former Swans manager Paulo Sousa. In October 2009, he spent a month on loan at Newport County but returned to Swansea City. Casey has also had loan spells at Port Talbot Town and League One club Colchester United . He plays on the wing and also as a striker
Thomas has represented Wales under-17 and Wales under-19, playing twice scoring one goal. He was called up to the under-21 squad, to face Luxembourg under-21 in March 2009.
Iestyn Evans has joined Llanelli Town on loan
Another player who has left Richmond Park is young defender Iestyn Evans, but the former Town youth team player has only departed on loan. Evans has linked up with Llanelli Town AFC in the Welsh League where Bob Jeffrey will help his development.
