Jason Oswell has rejoined Rhyl
Jason Oswell has returned to Rhyl after the Lilywhites announced his signing on transfer deadline day.
The striker has recently been playing Australian club APIA Leichhardt Tigers, but fans of the Corbett Sports Stadium club will be delighted to hear that he has returned to Greg Strong's side.
Born in Northwich, Oswell began his career at Crewe Alexandra, turning professional in May 2011. While at Crewe, he spent loan spells at Market Drayton and Nantwich Town during the 2010/11 season. He then linked up with Rhyl for the first time during the 2011/12 season, where he played in the Cymru Alliance.
He moved to Inverness Caledonian Thistle in June 2012, making his debut in August 2012 in the Scottish Premier League. Oswell was released by the club by mutual consent in January 2013 and he re-signed for former club Nantwich Town in February 2013. A spell at Witton Albion in March followed before his switch to Australia in May.
Rhyl will now be awaiting confirmation for International Clearance, which the FAW will be seeking from the Australian Football Federation.
