Prestatyn beat the current Champions thanks to a 31st minute Lee Hunt goal at Bastion Gardens – his second goal over the Bank Holiday period and Prestatyn’s second win of the new campaign. This historic victory was somewhat overshadowed by an hour’s delay in play as Chris Marriott was treated to a neck injury on the field of play.

Aberystwyth climbed to the top of the Corbett Sports WPL thanks to their second victory over the Bank Holiday period. Peter Hoy scored his first ever goal for Aber after 20 minutes and Chris Venables doubled the advantage with seven first half minutes remaining. Krzystzof Nalborski added the 3rd after 72 minutes of play.

The Old Gold bounced back from their last minute heartbreak at Airbus on Saturday with an impressive 4-0 win at Paveways Latham Park. Liam Thomas (2 + 33) Kyle Bassett (22) and Christian Doidge (30) put the visitors firmly in the driving seat by half time.

This game got off to a flyer in the first 8 minutes as Paul McManus netted twice (4 mins pen + 8 ) while Rob Jones scored for Bangor City.
Dave Forbes' effort on 59 minutes secured a 2 goal cushion for the visitors and Sion Edwards' 90th minute response was not enough to deny Rhyl their first WPL victory since their return to the top flight.

Airbus came from behind to register their second hard fought victory in 4 days. Mark Connolly put Bala ahead in the 10th minute – but the game changed when Kenny Lunt was dismissed after receiving his second yellow card of the match. Ian Kearney levelled things with 4 first half minutes remaining and 5 minutes into the second half Steve Jones pounced to bag the victory for Andy Preece’s men.

Port Talbot 0 Gap Connah’s Quay 0
Port Talbot secured their first League point and Gap claimed their second goal-less draw of the campaign at the GenQuip Stadium on Monday. The game’s major talking point was Paul Mooney’s challenge on Lewis Harling which led to his secon half dismissal.
Gap didn't have a single 0-0 result in the League last season!
