Recently appointed Afan Lido manager Paul Evans has made his first signings of the transfer window.

The club's first foray into the transfer market has seen them capture the services of former Llanelli defender Ryan Batley.

Evans has also completed a double raid on Welsh League outfit Caerau Ely, with the additions of winger Keyon Reffell and midfielder Bo Cordle to the Lido squad. Reffell is a Wales Futsal International and also a former Dinas Powys player.

Boss Evans commented: "Keyon has been highly sought after and has come recommended from a few top managers. He's really impressed us in training and we're looking forward to seeing what impact he can make in the Welsh Premier League."

The club has also retained the services of youth team members Callan Bowden and Alex Gammond, both of whom broke into the first team squad during last season's campaign.

Evans added: "The younger boys bring a level of enthusiasm into the squad. They're all really keen and I want to see how they've learned from the experience that they've had so far."
