From July 1st onwards, Mark Pitman will be the new Welsh football correspondent for UEFA.com.
This will lead to more positive stories about the Corbett Sports WPL being covered on UEFA.com.
Mark Pitman told the Corbett Sports WPL’s Official Website:
“I am very much looking forward to working alongside the many different areas of Welsh football to help promote some of the excellent work and initiatives that do not always get the attention they deserve. The Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League has traditionally struggled for press and media attention, and as a supporter of the national league, I am hopeful of raising its profile through my new position and showing the league in a positive light to a new audience".
Mark Pitman will also be a Venue Data Co-ordinator for UEFA, starting with the Bala Town and Prestatyn Town Europa League fixtures at Rhyl FC.
Pitman has been the Press and Media officer at Port Talbot Town for over a decade, and more recently has been writing for a number of different websites, blogs, magazines and programmes about the many different aspects of Welsh football.
Mae Mark Pitman wedi ei benodi yn ohebydd ar gyfer Cymru gan UEFA.com. Ei obaith yw hyrwyddo Uwch Gynghrair Cymru - Corbett Sports ar wefan swyddogol UEFA.
Bydd hefyd yn gyfrifol am ddarparu data o gemau penodol yn Ewrop a'i ddwy dasg gyntaf fydd gwneud hynny yng ngemau cyntaf Y Bala a Phrestatyn yng Nghynghrair Europa yr wythnos hon.
