Former Llanelli and Port Talbot Town striker Jeff White has become Newtown's second summer signing after the deal was confirmed last week. It follows the signing of keeper Mike Platt from Bala Town.

White, who finished the season with Llanelli, is a striker, who manager Bernie McNally has been looking to bring in, and the manager is delighted with the addition.

Jeff is a fantastic addition and is just the striker we need at Newtown

"Jeff is a fantastic addition and is just the striker we need at Newtown," said McNally.

He added, "He is someone who can hold the ball up for us and bring other's into play and he knows where the goal is."

McNally is now looking to tie up a deal for other potential signings in the coming weeks.
