Europa League Draw

Airbus UK (AUK Broughton) will play at home at the Racecourse, Wrexham in their first ever Europa League match against FK Ventspils from Latvia.

Both TNS and Llanelli have been beaten by Ventspils in recent years. The Saints lost on the away goals rule in 2007/8 while Llanelli lost 4-1 on aggregate the following season, despite winning the home leg 1-0 courtesy of a Stuart Jones goal. The Latvians reached the Europa League group stages in 2009/10.

Bala Town will face perennial European qualifiers FC Levadia Tallinn from Estonia and Prestatyn's first European experience will be against SK Liepajas Metalurgs, also from Latvia.

The Lakesider's opponents have qualified for Europe for the past ten seasons and lost 3-1 on aggregate to Newcastle in the UEFA Cup in 2007.

Both Bala and Prestatyn have opted to play their home matches at Rhyl FC and were drawn to play at home in the opening fixture. It will be decided on Monday who will play at home in the first leg.

The matches are scheduled for the 4th and 11th of July.

UPDATE: Bala Town have announced that they will play the home leg of their Europa League First Qualifying Round match against FC Levadia Tallinn on Tuesday, 2nd July at Belle Vue, Rhyl, with a 7.00pm kick off.

Bydd y gemau'n cael eu chwarae ar Orffennaf y 4ydd a'r 11eg ond bydd yn rhaid disgwyl tan 4pm heddiw (Llun) i glywed pwy fydd yn chwarae gartref gyntaf gan bod Prestatyn a'r Bala wedi dewis chwarae eu gemau cartref yn Y Rhyl.

Bydd y gemau'n cael eu chwarae ar y 4ydd a'r 11eg o Orffennaf.
