Team of the Season Announced

The New Saints’ Chris Marriott and Mark Jones of Bala Town are the only players to keep their place in the annual Welsh Premier League Team of the season.
The team selection is made by polling the twelve club managers for their best players in each position and a list of substitutes. The selections are totalled up to select the overall bet player in each position.
This year’s squad reflects the success of clubs with The New Saints represented by six players whilst second place Airbus UK have three representatives, Welsh Cup winners Prestatyn Town are have Andy Parkinson as one of two strikers and Bala Town’s midfield star Mark Jones makes up the eleven.
Last year’s first choice custodian Lee Idzi steps down to the bench as do Bangor City’s Michael Johnston and Les Davies. Also among the subs is Aeron Edwards after gaining a midfield slot in last term’s selection.
