Catherine Walsh scored in each half to ensure that Cardiff City’s destiny is still within their own control as they beat third place Wrexham at Collier’s Park on Sunday. Walsh struck after 21 and 60 minutes but Dave Taylor’s girls will have the chance to avenge this defeat when they travel to the Capital on May 19th.

Met did what they had to once again today as they kept the pressure on Cardiff City at the top of the table. The kick off was delayed by well over an hour as Caernarfon experienced travelling difficulties on their way to Cyncoed. The wind was hugely influential during this match and it took 20 minutes for Laura May to open the scoring and net the first of her 3 goals. Emily Brown doubled the Met advantage after 34 minutes. Four second half goals followed - Emily Allen (51), Laura May (54), Steph Turner (78) and May rounded off her hat-trick with 5 minutes remaining.

SWANSEA CITY 1 NEWCASTLE EMLYN 1
Two goals in the final 10 minutes of this game secured a point each for both sides at the Marston’s Stadium. Kirsty O’Donnell put the ‘home ’side ahead with 10 minutes left of play before Stacey John grabbed a point for the Emlyn with less than 2 minutes left on the clock.

LLANDUDNO JUNCTION 0 LLANIDLOES 2
A goal in each half by Steph Hughson bagged all three points for Llanidloes at Victoria Drive. The prolific scorer netted her first after 35 minutes and secured the victory for the visitors with 10 minutes remaining.
