Nomads Turn Red for New Season

Gap Connah's Quay have announced their brand new look for the 2013-14 season and the first choice kit will turn from the traditional white and black to red. A club statement said;"

"The Nomads are pleased to announce our brand new look for the 2013-14 season.

"The club are adopting the traditional colours of Connah's Quay town's official town crest, with the new kit to be red and the new away kit to be yellow.

"The kits are manufactured by Italian specialist supplier, Macron, who already supply a number of Welsh Premier League teams with high quality kit.

"Additionally, the new look for the 2013-14 season will include a modified club crest taking a more traditional look, fitting in with the heritage of Connah's Quay as a local community.

"Ahead of this past Saturday's home defeat to Newtown, the first team players were led out by Nomads Academy U7 and U8 players who donned the new kits. The new kits were well received by the 300 plus crowd in attendance.

"The new academy kit will be sponsored by gap personnel whilst the first team kit will continue it's sponsorship deal with Think Accounting who started sponsoring the first team at the beginning of the 2012-13 season.

"The new kit will be adopted throughout the club with a plethora of new sportswear being implemented including playing kit, training kit, substitute, and club official tracksuits amongst other items."
