Caerphilly Castle Withdraw from WPWL

Statement Regarding Caerphilly Castle Ladies & Girls FC

With regret, the club has decided to withdraw its’ membership from the Welsh Premier Women’s League with immediate effect.
Caerphilly Castle is very proud of its tradition of nurturing young footballing talent over the years but the club has found it difficult to compete at the highest level of Welsh Women’s Football this season.
The committed officials of the club fully intend to continue their passion of developing players throughout the different age groups and hope to return to the Welsh Premier Women’s League as soon as possible.
Caerphilly Castle Ladies & Girls FC wishes all the other eleven member clubs of the Welsh Premier Women’s League the very best of luck for the remainder of the season.
Caerphilly Castle Ladies & Girls FC’s WPWL record for the season has been expunged.

Gyda chalon drom, mae’r clwb wedi penderfynu gadael Uwch Gynghrair Merched Cymru ar unwaith.
Mae clwb Castell Caerffili yn falch o’i draddodiad o feithrin talent ifanc ers blynyddoedd ond wedi wynebu talcen caled i gystadlu yn Uwch Gynghrair Merched Cymru y tymor hwn.
Mae swyddogion cydwybodol y clwb yn bwriadu parhau gyda’u gwaith o ddatblybu chwaraewyr ifanc a’r gobaith a’r bwriad yw dychwelyd i Uwch Gynghrair Merched Cymru yn y dyfodol agos.
Mae holl ganlyniadau clwb Castell Caerffili o’r tymor hwn bellach wedi eu dileu.
Dymuna’r clwb bob llwyddiant i’r un tîm ar ddeg arall yn Uwch Gynghrair Merched Cymru weddill y tymor.
