Prestatyn Town manager Neil Gibson still believes his side has what it takes to compete at the top of the Welsh Premier League, despite a ‘resounding’ 4-0 defeat by Airbus UK last weekend., writes Jamie Nield-Siddall of the Rhyl Journal.

The Seasiders were blown away by Andy Preece’s ever-improving Airbus side, who have defeated Prestatyn in emphatic fashion on three occassions this season.

This weekend they play host to Port Talbot Town, and Gibson maintains his side are ready to battle in out in the Super Six.

It's a challenge because we’re playing all the best teams and there’s going to be some tight, tough games

He said: "More so this season than any other season, every team has been able to take points from each other

"It's a challenge because we’re playing all the best teams and there’s going to be some tight, tough games. Port Talbot have themselves strengthened, signing the likes of Martin Rose from Llanelli.

"We feel that we’re definitely capable of picking up plenty of points between now and the end of the season."
