Dan Sheehan
Port Talbot Town have confirmed the departures of both Daniel Sheehan and Jake Parry, with the pair having agreed moves to play out in Australia, writes Matthew Burgess.
Sheehan, who arrived at the club from Afan Lido last summer, and Parry, who came from the Under-19’s, are both expected to join Melbourne outfit Moreland City, along two former Blues Daniel Thomas and Craig Jones.
The departures of both players were somewhat unexpected but speaking ahead of Saturday’s league encounter with Bangor City at the GenQuip stadium, manager Scott Young wishes both the best of luck.
“Obviously we’re disappointed to be losing them but hopefully, if they ever do come back, they’ll want to play for Port Talbot Town and we’ll welcome them back with open arms,” he added.
Daniel Sheehan featured regularly at right-back for the club since his summer transfer, making 20 league appearances, whilst youngster Jake Parry made four appearances.
