Bangor / Airbus chosen as Live Quarter-Final

The Welsh Cup Quarter-Final tie between Bangor City and Airbus UK Broughton has been chosen as the live televised match on Saturday 2nd March 2013.

The clash between the Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League duo, who are both playing in the Top Six conference of the League following the split, is certainly the pick of the Round as Wingmakers boss Andy Preece looks to avenge last season's Semi-Final disappointment.

Airbus faced lower-League opponents last year in the last four, but despite being the favourites, were convincingly dumped out of the Cup by Cefn Druids. That defeat cost the Broughton-based outfit a first ever European qualification.

Preece will be hoping that his side can go better than last year, but face a difficult task against Nev Powell's side, who have won the Welsh Cup three times in the last five seasons.

The match will kick-off on Saturday 2nd March at 3:00pm.

The Haverfordwest County versus TNS Quarter-Final match has been brought forward to Friday, 1st March 2013, with a 19:30 kick-off
