BALA TOWN 3 GAP CONNAH'S QUAY 6
Four debut goals by Mike Hayes seemed to have secured Gap the sixth place - until the news of the process of the one point deduction put their celebrations on hold. A Ben Collins own goal and a Ryan Edwards cracker registered the other two goals for the visitors.
Thing started badly for Bala as Conall Murtagh was sent off for a two footed tackle in the 6th minute and goals by Lewis Codling, a Lee Hunt penalty and a late effort by Stuart Jones weren't enough to keep the top six dream alive for Bala.
CARMARTHEN TOWN 4 NEWTOWN 2
The Old Gold did all they could and won the game at Richmond Park. Two debut goals by Geoff Kellaway brought his new team level twice before goals by Liam Thomas and Christian Doidge secured the three valuable points for the home side.
Luke Boundford (16) and Shane Sutton (66) had put the Robins ahead on two different occasions.
THE NEW SAINTS 3 ABERYSTWYTH TOWN 0
Aber's faint hopes of claiming the sixth spot were quashed at Park Hall. Alex Darlington struck twice in the first half
and a rare Kai Edwards goal in the second half secured a comfortable win for the Corbett Sports WPL leaders.
BANGOR CITY 2 PORT TALBOT TOWN 2
Two goals each by Chris Simm and Ashley Evans meant that the spoils were shared at the Book People Stadium.
While Simm scored his 16th and 17th WPL goals of the season for Bangor - Ashley Evans shone for the Steelmen in his first game since signing from Llanelli. Evans put the visitors ahead after 11 minutes and secured a point for them in the 67th minute.
AIRBUS UK BROUGHTON 3 AFAN LIDO 1
First half goals by Wayne Riley (3) Steve Tomassen (24) and Phil Bolland (26) secured the victory for the Wingmakers and a Kieran Howard effort on 75 minutes gave the Lido some consolation before their southbound journey home.
