Bangor and Connah's Quay to host Under 17 Internationals

Bangor City’s Book People Stadium and Connah's Quay's Deeside Stadium have secured prestigious international fixtures with the news that the grounds are to host the U17 friendly internationals between Wales and Finland.

Welcoming the news, Bangor City Chairman Dilwyn Jones said,

"On the heels of last season’s Welsh Cup final and a series of high-profile internationals at youth level which we have staged, this is yet another vote of confidence in the first-rate facilities and service at The Book People Stadium.

"Since opening just a year ago, The Book People Stadium has become recognised and praised as the leading venue of its type in North West Wales."

"We at Bangor have had experience of playing Finnish opposition a number of times in the last few years, so we are very much looking forward to saying ‘Tervetuloa – Croeso’ to our friends from Finland when they visit us in a few weeks time."

The match at Bangor will be played on Tuesday 12 February, KO 6.00 and admission is free.

The match at Connah's Quay will be played on Thursday 14th February, KO 12noon and admission is free.
