Aberystwyth Town have confirmed that Antonio Corbisiero and Chris Venables have both joined the club from Llanelli, having signed contracts until July 2014.

Comfortable in a number of positions across the defence and midfield, ex-Swansea player Antonio Corbisiero was the longest serving player in the current Llanelli squad, having been at Stebonheath since October 2005, where he made over 200 appearances in the Welsh Premier. However, due to his recent relocation to the Aberystwyth area, Aberystwyth Town wasted no time in signing this experienced and well respected player.

Mae Aberystwyth wedi cadarnhau bod Antonio Corbisiero a Chris Venables wedi ymuno gyda'r clwb ar gytundebau fydd yn parhau tan fis Gorffennaf 2014.

Bydd Venables a Corbisiero ar gael i gynrychioli Aber yn erbyn Y Seintiau Newydd ar yr 2il o Chwefror. Mae gan Aberystwyth gyfle i gyrraedd y chwech uchaf o hyd - ond mae'n rhaid iddyn nhw ennill yn Neuadd y Parc a gobeithio yr aiff canlyniadau eraill o'u plaid hefyd.

Chris Venables is another midfielder who has over 250 Welsh Premier appearances to date, with Venables re-joining the Seasiders after nearly 4 years at Stebonheath. A Shrewsbury Town trainee, Llanidloes based Venables began his Welsh Premier League career at local club Caersws, before spending time at Welshpool and Aberystwyth, where he was part of the side that reached the Welsh Cup final in 2009. An ex-Welsh Semi Pro intrnational, in his time at Llanelli Venables has shown himself to be one of the most influential midfielders in the league.
