Airbus new boy Christian eyes success

Airbus' new recruit Christian Smith is confident that he can play a major role in helping Airbus to fulfil their ambitions this season.

The versatile former Wrexham and Chester player has agreed to join the Wingmakers ahead of what promises to be an exciting second part of the campaign and he spoke with Tom Norris of the Leader.

Airbus sit second in the Welsh Premier League table, and are well placed to challenge for a top two finish, while the club have also reached the fourth round of the Welsh Cup.

And Smith, who moves to the Airfield from Northern Premier Division outfit Nantwich, is eager to play his part in what will be the club’s most successful ever season.

“If we can get a run together we can achieve whatever we want to,” said the 25-year-old.
