Dwayne Saunders is loaned to Port Talbot
Port Talbot Town midfielder Dwayne Saunders has completed a loan switch to Welsh League side Bridgend Town, confirmed the club's Media Officer Matthew Burgess.
The 26-year-old moves to the Brewery Field on loan but can be recalled at any point.
Saunders has struggled with injury since joining Port Talbot and will be hoping to regain match fitness and get an extended run of games under his belt.
Saunders becomes the second exit within a week at the GenQuip stadium.
Craig Jones completed his departure from the club, returning to Afan Lido.
Craig has been unlucky with injuries since joining the club from Llanelli in May 2010 and having returned to fitness this season, he found his first-team opportunities limited, making five substitute appearances.
Chad Bond has been the club’s only addition of the transfer window so far but with another two weeks remaining, Scott Young said he is hopeful of adding further names to his squad.
“We’re looking to bring one or two in and we’re getting close. I don’t think we’ll have anything done before the Bangor game but maybe after that – we’ll just have to wait and see.”
