Four first half goals from Amy Wathan helped the visitors to their eighth victory in eight matches this season. A Hattie Powell brace made it 6-0 to Cardiff before the break and Jordan Guard's 75th minute goal was the only second half addition to the score.


PORT TALBOT TOWN 1 CARDIFF METRO 4

The students kept the pressure on their capital counterparts by securing their eighth victory in nine matches. Jazz Thomas scored twice and further strikes by Robyn Pinder and Chloe Tucker secured the points for the Met. Sophie Dando also got her name on the scoresheet but unforunately for her it was in her own net which gave Port Talbot their only goal of the game.


WREXHAM 4 ABERYSTWYTH 1

Four first half goals secured a comfortable victory for Wrexham. Lowri Edwards opened the home side's account after 9 minutes and three futher goals followed before the break - Lyndsey Rodgers (20), Chloe Foster (29) and Jade Davies (45).
Amy Jenkins secured a consolation goal for Aber 2 minutes from time.


SWANSEA CITY 4 CAERNARFON 2

Swansea started well when Sara Llewelyn struck after only 8 minutes but Caernarfon responded strongly with goals from Hannah Jones (19) and Katie Williams (28) which put them ahead. Kirsty O'Donnell made things level before the break and Jodie Passmore regained the lead for the Swans 6 minutes into the second period. Hannah Lewis secured the victory with 9 minutes remaining.


LLANIDLOES 0 LLANDUDNO JUNCTION 1

This game, which was played in a snow storm for almost the entire 90 minutes was won by an Aimee Todd effort after 66 minutes when she cut in from the left hand side of the pitch and shot neatly into the top of the net from 12 yards.


NEWCASTLE EMLYN 36 CAERPHILLY CASTLE 0

A number of new WPWL records were set in this match as the highest score was recorded. Bethan Davies' 10 goals is also a record.
Sophie Jones netted 9 goals,Marie Tilley 6, Kirsty Fisher 3, Carrie Slack 3, Stacey John 2, Carys Davies 2 and Caroline Cooper 1.
