Bala Town face their Gwynedd rivals on Friday night in their penultimate match of the first phase of the season.

It is still possible for the Lakesiders to secure sixth place with six points still on offer but two tough home matches v the Citizens and Connah´s Quay stand in their way. With six matches without a win, Town have dropped to tenth in the table but only four points separate the teams in 7th down to 11th.

John Irving will start the first of his three match ban this weekend after his sending off at Port Talbot. Striker Lee Hunt is rated 50-50 after picking up a knock to his ankle last Saturday.

Bangor City will be without Sion Edwards who will be missing due to suspension, but have secured the signature of Robbie Booth from Chester and are hoping to secure Levi Mackin, but new signing Kris Thomas is still suspended.

City who sit in second will also be looking to get the three points on offer as they try to close the gap on league leader TNS.

Gap Connah’s Quay v Prestatyn Town (19:30)

Gap Connah’s Quay lost 4-1 at Bastion Gardens earlier in the season and will be missing skipper Craig Jones as he is serving a one match ban for being booked five times, but the clubs says that getting Danny Forde back from long term injury has been like getting a new signing.

Nomads include a fit again Dean Canning and the two January signings, Lee Davey and John Hardiker. Rhys Healey is working his socks off and the growing band of scouts tracking him must have been impressed by his grafting in the Carmarthen game in which he didn’t get a chance in front of goal. However, the onlookers from the pro game must have made note of Jamie Wynne’s recent displays too, writes the club.
