NEWTOWN 1 THE NEW SAINTS 1

The New Saints recorded their second away day draw of the week as Newtown extended their unbaten run of games to four at Latham Park.

Criag Williams gave the home side the lead after half an hour but Michael Wilde claimed his 11th goal of the campaign after 64 minutes of play.

The man of the match award was given to Dave Roberts the Newtown goalkeeper .Bernie McNally will be happy with his keeper's performance and the valuable point pocketed by his side.


LLANELLI 2 BANGOR CITY 2

A Chris Thomas penalty 5 minutes from time secured a point for Llanelli and denied Bangor an important victory at Stebonheath.

Llanelli took the lead through Martin Rose's 11th goal of the season after 18 minutes but two second half strikes from the League's top scorer Chris Simm secured the lead for the visitors.

The former Chester striker pounced on 50 and 67 minutes to take his total up to 15 goals this season.

With 85 minutes on the clock Sion Edwards conceded the vital penalty - and was sent off - and Thomas made no mistake from the spot.


ABERYSTWYTH TOWN 4 PRESTATYN TOWN 1

Mark Jones scored and impressive hat-trick on his home debut for Aberystwyth. Jones netted his 11th, 12th and 13th league goals of the season in the final 18 minutes of the match at Park Avenue.

Jordan Follows had missed a 33rd minute penalty for Aberystwyth - but after 72 minutes of the play- Jones sprung into action to claim his first goal . Within minutes the former Afan Lido captain had bagged his second of the afternoon. Follows found the net late on and Jones' third goal in injury time confirmed an important victory for Tomi Morgan and his men.

PORT TALBOT TOWN 2 BALA TOWN 1

The Steelmen's recent impressive run continued on Saturday as they marched towards securing a top six position for the second half of the season.

David Brooks netted his 11th of the season in the first half before John Irving was given his marching orders for a challenge on the goalscorer.

The clinching goal followed in the second period when Chad Bond made an impressive return to the GenQuip by beating Ashley Morris to double the home side's advantage after 78 minutes.

A wonder goal from almost the halfway line from Stephen Brown made it 2-1 in the closing stages - but despite their late pressure, ten man Bala couldn't rescue a point from the match.


GAP CONNAH'S QUAY 1 CARMARTHEN TOWN 1

The spoils were shared at the Deeside Stadium on Saturday - keeping both sides' hopes of a top six finish alive.

The Nomads took a 6th minute lead through Danny Forde - but Craig Hughes responded 7 minutes into the second period to secure a point for Mark Aizlewoods travelling team.
