Llanelli responded to a Boxing Day defeat at Richmond Park, to win the reverse fixture in Saturday's Carmarthenshire derby at Stebonheath Park.

Having beaten Llanelli by the solitary goal on Wednesday, Carmarthen started sluggishly at Stebonheath this afternoon. They conceded two goals in the opening 10 minutes as defender Ryan Batley and striker Martin Rose netted for the home side. Liam Thomas responded with two goals of his own to become the League's joint-top scorer with Chris Simm on 13 goals. An Antonio Corbisiero penalty secured the half-time lead for the Reds, before Luke Bowen secured the points for Bob Jeffrey's team on the hour.

Saturday's results see Llanelli climb out of the bottom two up to seventh place.
