Ryan Batley
Youngster Ryan Batley is a youth-team product who joined the first team squad from last years successful Under 19's squad. He was a vital member of the team that won the Welsh Youth Cup.
The Portsmouth-born left-sided defender lives in Bridgend and qualifies for Wales through his Welsh mother. In the 2009/10 pre-season, the younster impressed the management team with his strong tackling and quick pace and he is a regular member of the first team squad, and is frequently named as a youth sub in the Welsh Premier League.
His excellent early-season form warranted a call-up for the Wales Semi-Professional Under 23 side as a late replacement and he was an unused sub in the friendly match against Poland at Richmond Park in September 2009. He was again a late replacement and an unused sub in the International Challenge Trophy match against N.Ireland at Portadown in November 2009.
