Scott Barrow's Picture

Scott Barrow

The youngster signed for Port Talbot in August 2006 as a 17 year old after featuring for Welsh League side Briton Ferry and the Swansea City Centre of Excellence. He is a nimble left sided midfielder or left-back, who likes to get forward and is not goal shy.

He has been a key member of the Steelmen squad for three seasons and despite his young age, has already played over 100 times in the Port Talbot Town first team in all competitions. In his first League season, he played 17 (+6) times scoring three times and the following campaign he played 20 (+6) times. In 2008/09 he made his most appearances in one League season with 22 (+3) appearances, scoring twice.

In 2007, he was selected by the Welsh Colleges team and played against England. He won his first Wales Semi-Pro Under 23 cap against Poland at Carmarthen in September 2009 at left-back and gained his second cap against N.Ireland in Portadown in November 2009 on the left of midfield.
