Phil Baker

Phil is an outstanding Welsh Premier defender who signed for Saints from Bangor City in June 2005 and re-signed for the club for a fourth season in 2008/09.

He joined the Farrar Road club in 2003 from Tranmere Rovers, but left after a short time to join then Football League outfit Exeter City. He returned to the Welsh Premier with Aberystwyth Town and, after a brief spell with Unibond League Droylsden, rejoined City in September 2004, where he made 28 league appearances in 2004/5. He has become a regular and vital member of the TNS backline playing either at Right Back or in the heart of the defence.

Phil was named in the 2006/07 Principality Welsh Premier Team of the Season after a tremendous campaign for the Saints and has now racked up over 100 Welsh Premier League games for the Saints.
