Mike Jones

Mike is 32 years old and from Gwersyllt in Wrexham. He is married to Donna, whom he describes as the 'Goddess'! They don't have any children, but do have two cats.

Mike started refereeing in 1989, aged fourteen and progressed through to Class 'A' by the age of seventeen. Mike got on to the Welsh Premier League line in 1993/94 and was selected on to the FIFA Assistants List in 1997. He was an Assistant in the Welsh Cup finals in 1999 and 2003. In 2004, he was a Supplementary Referee and joined the Full list in 2006. His other most important matches to date are Dinamo Tblisi v Sporting Lisbon and Northern Ireland v Slovakia.

Mike's hobbies and interests include Indie music and Horse Racing and he is known in refereeing circles as 'Shandy'.
