Playing squad  09/10 Back

Swansea born Lee Bevan is a tall Centre Half who joined Haverfordwest County in July 2009, after he failed to agree terms with Neath for the 2009/10 Season.

He progressed through the Youth System at Neath Athletic and won the Players' Player of the Year in his first senior season in 2006/07, at only 19 years old.

He quickly made a name for himself with his aerial ability and quality on the ball in the Welsh Premier and will continue to develop at the New Bridge Meadow. He has already attracted interest from clubs at a higher level and will continue to do so.

Lee was rewarded for an excellent start to his Welsh Premier career with selection to the Wales Semi Professional Under 23 side, and won his first Cap against Italy in Varese in November 2007. He cruelly missed the majority of the 2008/09 season with a career-threatening injury, but he made a full recovery and joined the West Wales Bluebirds. His comeback was completed when he started in the heart of the defence against Northern Ireland for Wales Semi Pro's in the International Challenge Trophy in Portadown in November 2009 for his second cap.
